Mr. and Mrs. Duane “Pete” Confer

— Mr. and Mrs. Duane “Pete” Confer, Sharon, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in The Brass Lantern restaurant, Transfer.
Confer and the former Janet Hunter were married Feb. 14, 1957, by the Rev. David Hartman of First Baptist Church, Greenville.
Confer retired from Yourga Trucking Inc., Wheatland.
Mrs. Confer is a receptionist at The Ridgewood at Shenango Valley, Hermitage.
They have a daughter, Stacy Dagres, Hermitage, and three sons, John, Hermitage; Michael and his wife, Tina, West Middlesex; and William, Sharon.
Three grandsons, three granddaughters, four stepgrandsons, a stepgranddaughter, five great-grandsons, two stepgreat-grandsons and two stepgreat-granddaughters complete the family.
