Published July 14, 2008 01:05 pm - On March 15, 2008, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cameron were honored with a surprise 50th anniversary dinner at Jess’s Restaurant in Hermitage, hosted by their children and spouses. There were 70 friends and family members in attendance. Their children and spouses presented the couple with a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate their actual anniversary date.

On March 15, 2008, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cameron were honored with a surprise 50th anniversary dinner at Jess’s Restaurant in Hermitage, hosted by their children and spouses. There were 70 friends and family members in attendance. Their children and spouses presented the couple with a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate their actual anniversary date.

The former Cecelia Jean Goral and Cameron were married April 19, 1958, at the Sharpsville Methodist Church by the Rev. Jack Williams. 

Fred is retired from the former Sharon Steel Corp., Farrell.

Jean worked at Bell Telephone Co. before becoming a homemaker.

Their children include a son, Timothy Cameron and his wife Terri, Alabama, and a daughter, Susan and her husband Philip Brown, Hermitage.  

Four grandchildren, Jacob, Anna, and Maggie Brown, all Hermitage, and Stephen Atkinson, Alabama, complete the family.
