Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Stainbrook Sr., 33 Bentley Ave., Greenville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 17, 2008, at a dinner with their children and grandchildren.

The former Sandra Mackey and Ronald Stainbrook were married July 17, 1958, in First United Methodist Church, Greenville, by the Rev. Wendell Minnigh.

Mr. Stainbrook graduated in 1954 from the former Penn High School in Greenville and retired from Baird Funeral Home in Greenville after 47 years.

Mrs. Stainbrook graduated in 1956 from the former Penn High School and retired from the Borough of Greenville as secretary for the borough manager.

The Stainbrooks are active members and longtime choir members of First United Methodist Church.

Their children are Shelly, wife of Rodney Silvis, Clarion; and Ronald “Larry” Stainbrook Jr., and his wife, Lori, and Richard Stainbrook, and his wife, Gaye, all Greenville.

Their grandchildren are Kelly Silvis, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Kate Silvis, Clarion; and Sergei, Sydney and Mackenzie Stainbrook, all Greenville.
