Published August 11, 2008 12:24 pm - Mr. and Mrs. Neal Lineman, Greenville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with their family.
The former Mary Catherine Reno and Lineman were married Aug. 2, 1958, in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Delaware Township.

Mr. and Mrs. Neal Lineman, Greenville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with their family.

The former Mary Catherine Reno and Lineman were married Aug. 2, 1958, in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Delaware Township.

Mrs. Lineman graduated in 1951 from Mercer High School. She was employed from 1955 to 1958 by Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.

Mr. Lineman graduated in 1952 from the former Penn High School, Greenville; and in 1961 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind. He served from 1954 through 1957 in the U.S. Army and was employed from 1961 to 1988 at Reynolds High School, from which he retired. He was head wrestling coach from 1961 to 1977 at Reynolds High.

They enjoy exercising five days a week at UPMC Wellness Center, Hempfield Township. Mr. Lineman also enjoys running daily. Mrs. Lineman is an avid gardener who shares her vegetables and berries with her family. Both enjoy attending their grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events. They are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenville.

Their three children are Robyn Weaver, Vicki Hildebrand and David Lineman, all Greenville. Their five grandchildren are Kristen Weaver, Matthew Weaver, Grace Hildebrand, Marie Lineman and Michael Lineman.
