The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2009 Phoenix Award recipients.

According to Webster’s Dictionary, Phoenix is defined as ’A person or thing of unsurpassed excellence or beauty,’ said Deanne Rose, the chamber’s marketing and membership coordinator

The award ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. May 21 at The Corinthian in downtown Sharon. Guests will be welcomed with an elegant hors d’oeuvre reception to be followed by the awards program.
