- — GC Chamber hosting Eggs n’ Issues

GROVE CITY – The Grove City Chamber of Commerce will host an Eggs ’n’ Issues breakfast on legislative and budget updates, the Affordable Care Act and business resources from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Colonnade room of Carnegie Alumni Center at Grove City College.

Speakers include: Carl Knoblock, western Pennsylvania Small Business Administration district director; Shela Fitzgerald Sterrett, Northwest Pennsylvania regional manager for U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa.; and Maggie Horne, director of the Gannon University Small Business Development Center.

Cost: $12 for members, $15 for non-members. Reservations required by Monday at 724-458-6410.

Seminar offers tips on reducing electric costs

FARRELL – A seminar on how retail electricity contract prices are determined and how businesses can benefit will be held at 11 a.m. April 2 in Farrell City Building, 500 Roemer Blvd.

Hosted by Penn-Northwest Development Corp., representatives of Grove City-based Premier Power Solutions LLC will explain such things as how to understand components of electric prices, how to manage rising capacity costs and and how to save and reduce your energy needs.
