Dawn Winkler and Bradleigh Pembridge were married May 23, 2009, in Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel in Mercer, by Stephen Pembridge.
The bride is a daughter of William Winkler Jr. and Pamela Winkler, 1454 Monticello Ave., Hermitage.
The bridegroom is a son of G. Thomas Pembridge, Jamestown, N.Y.; and Laurie Pembridge, Clymer, N.Y.
Amanda Bell, West Middlesex, and Dragana Masic, Hermitage, were honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Amanda Getway, Samantha Craig, Katie Lyon, all of Hermitage; Jenn Hornyak, West Middlesex; Laurie Lacey, Beaver, Pa.; Megan Garstecki, Scottsdale, Pa.; and groom’s sisters, Courtney and Emily Pembridge, both of Bemus Point, N.Y.
Best men were Chris Pembridge, groom’s brother, Bemus Point; and Steve Gerring, Orlando, Fla. Ushers were Chris Brown, Brent Harman, Ford Morgan and Chris Gatto and groom’s brother, Jason Pembridge, all from Bemus Point; Ben Carothers, groom’s cousin, Basking Ridge, N.J.; and bride’s cousins, Tim Hoffman, Sharon; Jack Taylor, Perrysburg, Ohio; Josh Hoffman, Hermitage; and James Taylor, Perrysburg, Ohio.
Flower girls were Olivia Pembridge, groom’s sister, Bemus Point; and Elyse Craig, bride’s cousin, Sharpsville.
Ring bearer was Dustin Craig, bride’s cousin, Sharpsville.
Wedding participants other than church personnel were Hailey and Hannah Melhorn, both bride’s cousins of Hermitage.
A reception was held at The Radisson Hotel of Sharon, Shenango Township.
After a honeymoon to Sandals Resort in St. Lucia, the newlyweds live in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Pembridge plans to graduate in May 2011 from Carlow University with a bachelor’s degree in history.
Her husband plans to graduate in June 2011 from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in visual effects and motion graphics.
The couple, who met on the same day as the bride’s parents 29 years later, celebrated their first anniversary on May 23.
