Novaks feted for 50 years

---- — Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Novak, Sharpsville, celebrated their golden anniversary with a 50th wedding anniversary Mass and special blessing today with Father Daniel J. Kresinski, Pastor of St. Anthony’s officiating. The couple have also planned a future mountain vacation.

The former Delores C. Grezjka and Novak were married July 2, 1960, in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Sharon, by the Rev. Zoran Ostojich. Their close friend the Rev. Berto Dragicevic was an honored guest. The dinner reception was held at the Slovenian Home in Sharon.

Novak served with the U.S. Army Security Agency in Frankfurt, Germany, and was a supervisor at the former National Castings Division of Midland-Ross Corp., Sharon, for more than 20 years. He retired after 14 years from Victor Printing Co., Sharon.

Mrs. Novak is a homemaker and earlier was a licensed cosmetologist. She retired from Gold Cross Home Medical.

They have four children: Dawn Elizabeth and her husband Jeffrey Ream, Avon, Ohio; Brian Anthony and his wife Ellen, Gibsonia, Pa.; Monica Mary and her husband Martin Cipriano, New Castle; and Deborah Anne and her husband Chuck Knott, Sharpsville.

Nine grandchildren complete the family.
