Water spews above Main Street in Sharpsville after a water main broke Monday morning. Sharpsville’s water system has been a headache for borough officials for years because the pipes are old and the treatment plant needs to be replaced. Aqua Pennsylvania is in the process of connecting to Sharpsville’s system to provide water to the borough and South Pymatuning Township.
