Meetings
• Hickory High School class of 1960 gathers for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Ferrara’s Restaurant, 1208 Hall Ave., Sharon.
• Farrell High School class of 1950 meets at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Red Lobster, Hermitage.
Special event
• Parents, friends, and family members who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death are invited to attend UPMC Horizon’s Annual Empty Arms Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Monday at Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, affiliated with Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC.
UPMC Horizon’s May Events Calendar, published April 30, contained an incorrect date for the memorial service.
The candle-lighting service will be a time to remember the love and loss of an unborn or newborn child. Participants can share pictures, poems, or personal thoughts with others who understand their grief.

Fundraisers
• The 10th annual flea market to benefit the Hermitage Historical Society is set for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stewart House driveway and Whispering Pines Park walkway. Setup at 6:30 a.m. at the garage at Stewart House. The date was incorrectly listed in The Herald on Saturday.
Vendor space available for $10 and you must bring your own tables. There will be crafters, books, food and more.
All proceeds benefit the society. This year’s need is roof repairs and blacktop to complete the driveway.
• Seed of Faith Ministry will hold a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the new City of Farrell Recreation Complex, 1108 Fruit Ave., Farrell.
Dinner menu will be whiting or pollock, string beans, potato salad or French fries, fried wings and leg quarters available all for $6.50.
All proceeds will go to the Seeds of Faith building fund.

• UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation will host its annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale, Wednesday at Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon and Thursday and Friday at UPMC Horizon’s hospitals in Greenville and Farrell. Hours for the sale are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. Proceeds benefit community projects sponsored by the foundation.
• Stony Point Grange will have a reverse raffle and barbecue chicken and beef dinner Saturday at Reynolds Veterans of Foreign Wars pavilion.
Doors and boards open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30. Casual dress. Grand prize is $1,000. Participants must be 18 years or older. A donation of $25 per person is requested. Details: 724-253-2155.

• Hickory High School class of 1968 reunion committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at D’Avanzo’s Restaurant.
All meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
