Once again The Herald plans to give its readers a chance to mark their calendars so they don’t miss longtime local favorites like Fredonia Old Home Week and the Transfer Harvest Home.
Those who are on a fair board or are helping to plan summer festivities are asked to submit information to Kelley Dorus at The Herald by 4 p.m. Tuesday for publication in the Mercer and Lawrence Counties Summer Fun Guide later this month. The address is Box 51, Sharon 16146.
Information also may be faxed to Mrs. Dorus at 724-981-5116 or e-mailed to kdorus@sharonherald.com, but planners should call her at 724-981-6100 or 800-981-1692 to make sure she received the information.
The following information should be included:
• Dates, times and location of the event
• Event sponsor
• A few highlights, such as entertainment and contests
• Name and daytime phone number of contact person
It’s important to respond now; fair information might not be published again during the summer.
