The spring party for Wimodausis will be held at noon May 14 at Scottish Rite Cathedral, New Castle. This is the group’s annual fun day.

Fundrasiers
iXL Rehab & Fitness Center, 139 North Erie S., Mercer, will be conducting a St. Jude “Workout” to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 17. This event will be open to the public and anyone wishing to work out for this event will receive a free two-week pass to iXL Rehab and Fitness Center.
Register by phone, 724-662-1776 or come in to iXL Rehab, Exercise and Wellness Center to fill out a form.
Prizes are awarded to “TOP” fundraisers.
All participants in the event will receive a certification from St. Jude Children’s Hospital acknowledging your kindness and support.
A garage sale/quilt raffle will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilmington Township, Mercer County, municipal building, 35 Auction Road, New Wilmington.
There will be fresh doughnuts, Ohio Star Quilt raffle and a variety of other items. Tickets for the quilt raffle are $1 a ticket or six tickets for $5.
