Meetings

• Mercer County Christian Coalition will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Evangelical Congregational Church, 3203 N. Hermitage Road (Route 18), Pymatuning Township.

The educational portion of the event will be the DVD video of Session 9 from the Prophesy Conference. The speaker is a very informed Jewish male, Ami Tsarfati. He informs listeners of what is happening and what may be the outcome for all countries of the Middle East.

• West Middlesex High School class of 1970 meets for lunch at 12:30 p.m. May 17 at Billy’s Black & Gold, Sharon.

• Farrell High School class of 1959 holds a 50th class reunion meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Italian Home, Farrell. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

• Sharpsville High School class of 1967 meets from 6 to 8 p.m. May 20 at Muscarella’s, 500 Main St., Sharpsville.

Fundraisers

• Mercer County Master Gardeners are holding their 12th annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mercer County 4-H Park Exhibit Building, 11/2 miles north of Mercer on Route 19. There will be annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs.

Garden art will be available for sale. Master Gardeners will also be available to answer questions and give gardening tips. Info: 724-962-4265.

• A steak fry dinner will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Wheatland American Legion.

Tickets are $15 each. There will be raffles and a Chinese auction. Proceeds benefit the Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department. Info: 724-347-7060.
