Special events
• Club Pet Adoption presents “Specdogular Adoption Day!” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Dog Park, Hermitage.
Club Pet Adoption will have many dogs and cats available for adoption plus vendors, a Chinese auction and refreshments.

• The 15th annual Juneteenth 2009 will be held from noon to dusk June 20 at Veterans Square, Federal Street between Darr and Spearman, Farrell.
Parade lineup at 9 a.m. with the parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. A youth talent show will be held at 6 p.m. All talents welcome.
Visitors should bring their own chairs and seating blankets to enjoy the day.
The event is sponsored by Minority Health Center/ERASE Anti-Drug Coalition. Info: 724-981-3856.
Meetings
• Young at Heart Fellowship will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. June 16 in First Presbyterian Church, 323 Main St., Greenville.
Entertainment is “Music by Mike” and David E. Frew will talk about “The Hindu Temple” which he has toured.
Members should bring table service and a covered dish, salad or dessert to share. Meat, rolls and beverages will be provided. Everyone welcome.
• Sharon High School class of 1942 will meet at 1 p.m. June 16 at Short Stop Restaurant, New Wilmington.
• Farrell High School class of 1959 reunion committee will meet at 7 p.m. June 17 at Farrell Italian Home. All classmates are urged to attend.
