Pymatuning Park plans ‘Backyard Campout’
JAMESTOWN — “Great Backyard Campout” is planned for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 28 in Pymatuning State Park, Jamestown.
There will be displays of campers, outdoor cooking and boats. Those attending should park at the main entrance to the campground. Pets are not permitted.

Colonial fest set for Saturday
VOLANT -- A Colonial Festival at James Creek Galleries, 425 Main St. in Volant, featuring nationally known artists and craftsmen, is set for 9 a.m. to dusk Saturday. The fest, in conjunction with the Volant Village Independence Day celebration, will include Windsor chair making, rug hooking, Shaker box making, colonial cooking, pottery making, Williamsburg fruit designing, children’s games, garden activities and more.
