• Linesville is hosting a Christmas Candlelight Walk to Remember from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Stores will have prize entry forms and decorations.

• The Butler County Symphony Orchestra, directed by Elisabeth Heath Charles, presents its annual holiday concert “Holiday Gems” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium of Butler Intermediate High School. • The Mercer County Historical Society’s Chamber Players play at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 in the Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel, Mercer. The finale will feature an audience-participation rendering of Christmas carols, including Silent Night by candlelight. Free and open to the public; donations accepted

• Holiday concerts are being presented by local high school choirs in the courthouse in Mercer. Upcoming are Sharpsville High School playing Friday, Reynolds High School Wednesday, Hickory High School Dec. 11, Oakview Middle School Dec. 12, Commodore Perry High School Dec. 15, Jamestown High School Dec. 16, Lakeview High School Dec. 17, Mercer High School Dec. 18 and Grove City High School Dec. 19. All concerts begin at 12:30 p.m.

• The Keelings will play part of their “Christmas with The Keelings” concert series at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Friday in Bethel Worship Center, Greenville. • The Shenango Valley Chorale’s Madrigal Singers perform their annual “Olde English Feaste” at 7 p.m. tonight through Sunday at Tara, A Country Inn, in Clark. Also on the chorale’s plate are two Christmas concerts: 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in Wallace Chapel, Westminster College, New Wilmington, and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in First Presbyterian Church, Sharon. • The Rockettes’ Christmas show in Cleveland opens at 8 tonight at the State Theatre in Playhouse Square and continues through Dec. 28.

• Oak Grove Church Choir presents a musical, “Old Fashioned Christmas,” at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 and 21 in the church, about one mile east of U.S. Route 19 in Fairview Township. Info: 724-376-4231 or 724-458-2811

• A holiday show will be performed by Friends in Harmony at 1 p.m. today and Deryck Tines at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hall of Architecture in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh. Info: 412-622-3131.

• Boardman Township Park will become a winter wonderland with 15 holiday light displays beginning Sunday. The free show will be open every night from 5 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 7. The park is located off state Route 224 in Boardman.

• A Christmas Choral Concert presented by Grove City College’s touring and chapel choirs will be performed at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Harbison Chapel on campus. Info: 724-450-1517.
