• On Feb. 18, The Mercer County Historical Society, 119 S. Pitt St., Mercer, will host its new “History in the Making” discussion group. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and program starts at 7 p.m. Participation is free.

Part of the meeting will focus on a video production from archives of different countries. The meeting will feature the Holocaust during World War II and attempts will be made to tie events and personalities to Mercer County.

The “History in the Making” discussion group is part of the Historical Society’s ongoing efforts to provide programming related to local history. The roundtable meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May.
