New Light Missionary Baptist Church

“A Tribute to the King,” honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be part of an 8 p.m. Saturday winter celebration at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Morrison Street and Cedar Avenue, Sharon.

Shenango Valley Ministerial Association

The Rev. Raymond O. Brown, pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Masury, will speak at Shenango Valley Ministerial Association’s annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day service at 4 p.m. Sunday in Second Baptist Church, 1138 Spearman Ave., Farrell.

Love Christian Center

Minister Johnny Henry of Meadville, a singer-drummer and former high school section and district wrestling champion, will speak at the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day youth meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday at Love Christian Center, 411 Hamilton Ave., Farrell.

Jessica L. Talbert-Kirsh, a former track standout who is a member of New Covenant Christian Church of God in Christ, will minister in lyrical muse-rap.
