WaterFire orientations scheduled for volunteers

SHARON — Three Meet-and-Greet Orientations for WaterFire Sharon volunteers have been scheduled.

Meetings are 5 to 7 p.m. June 21, 10 a.m. to noon June 28; and 7 to 9 p.m. July 2 at the Maennerchor Club Fest Halle, 391 S. Dock St., Sharon.

Organizers want to make sure volunteers are:

• aware of new things happening at WaterFire

• in the loop on new WaterFire initiatives and themes

• able to offer suggestions about making WaterFire events even better

• well trained and comfortable carrying out a role at WaterFire.

The orientations will be an opportunity to interact with other volunteers, update contact information, and become familiar with the various volunteer roles available.

Volunteers need to attend one of the available sessions.
