Gardeners can get basics of starting seeds indoors

MERCER – T.C. Conner, the Write Gardener, presents the basics of starting seeds indoors at 6:30 p.m. March 6 in the Pig Barn at Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road, Coolspring Township. Vegetables will be the main focus but annual and perennial seeds can also be started indoors. By starting seeds in later winter, gardeners not only get a jump start on the growing season, but also find a way to utilize their “green thumb” during the winter months.

Cost for the program is $10. Register by March 4 with Jacqueline at 724-662-2242.
