Get your fill at ice cream fest

COOLSPRING TOWNSHIP — The annual Mercer – Northwest Guernsey Breeders’ all-you-can-eat ice cream supper will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mercer County 4-H Park, U.S. Route 19, north of Mercer in Coolspring Township.

Menu includes vanilla ice cream with strawberries and chocolate toppings, cake, coffee and cold drinks.

Tickets will be sold at the door or in advance at Leslie N. Firth Learning Center or from any Guernsey director: adults, $7; children ages 5 through 10, $4; and ages 4 and younger, free.

Vogel Valley Farms Miniature Farm Display Trailer and a modern playground for children will be available. The Saddlesores 4-H Horse Show begins at 5:30 p.m. in the horse ring.

Proceeds support Guernsey association programs, including youth projects and 4-H.
