College graduate from Jan. 6, 2014

- — • Louis T. Shernisky, formerly of Sharon, graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in May, with a juris doctorate degree. He accepted a position as assistant chief council with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Fla. Louis assists senior attorneys in rendering legal services to all elements of the Kennedy Space Center and other NASA organizations on a broad range of legal and policy issues affecting KSC operations.

Louis graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science from Gannon University in 2008 and is also a 2004 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School, Hermitage.

He resides in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with his wife, the former Rebekah Pickett.
