West Hill Elementary School, 301 Ellsworth St., Sharon, will hold a Veterans Day Program at 1:15 p.m. today.
Students from school will read these essays:
Thank you for giving your life for my life. I appreciate you serving our country. I wish you good luck on your mission to protect our country. I also wish I could be in the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, or the Marines. Some day I’ll serve and be just like you, a veteran. Your the best who ever you are. No matter what the case is, I’ll be coming to serve just like you and be honored. I will always remember that I promised you that I will serve. I wish you could write back. I wish you for ever good luck!
Sincerely your friend,
I’m very much appreciative of your sacrifices for our freedom. I can only imagine what you have been through. What I am trying to say is hard to put into words and all I know is that I would never be able to say thank-you enough.
We appreciate the freedom you gave us. We appreciate the freedom of being abot to pick the leader we want. Thank-you for all you have done.
When I think of veterans what come to mind is a uniting group of friends that gave the ultimate sacrifice for what they believe in. Holding their heads high as they walk through the battle field with the pride red, white and blue running through their viens. Your camo can not cover up your bravery and strength. You are not alone your friends and family are always with you. We thank you and are appreciative. Our heros then, now and forever. We salute you.
