The Feb. 11 Christian Coalition meeting was led by Dave James, who spoke on “Understanding the Democratic Party and Gun Control.”   

Some members signed a petition urging passage of House and Senate right-to-work bills, giving workers the freedom to use their union dues to support programs of their choice.

John Beverage, led the discussion on gun control by repeating the importance of the second amendment. He also distributed the April edition of the “New American.”

The next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 11 in the Assembly of God Church on North Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage. Possible topics will be immigration and/or taxes.

Organization reports are published as space permits. Submit written information within three days of a meeting to The Herald, Box 51, Sharon 16146.
