- — Fundraisers

• Amaranth, Farrell Eastern Star and Kedron Masonic Lodge will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kedron Lodge, Erie and Walnut streets, West Middlesex.

Dinner for adults is $8 and $4 for ages 10 and younger.

• Grove City Midget Football Club is hosting a dinner dance fundraiser, “Totally Awesome ’80s Party” from 6 to 11 p.m. May 16 at the Stanley Snyder Veterans of Foreign Wars on Brent Road.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Ticket includes a barbecue-style food buffet, dessert and beverages.

There will be a DJ, raffle baskets and prizes. Come in your best ’80s attire.

• The Ancient Order of Hibernians meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday and the first Tuesday of each month at Jess’s Junction, Hermitage.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians is an Irish Catholic Men’s organizatioin. New members are welcome.

• A.B.A.T.E. of PA District 1 motorcycle safety and awareness ride will be May 10.

Southern route: 9:30 a.m. Crawford County riders to leave from Sheetz across from PennDOT to go to Quaker Steak & Lube to meet up with Mercer County riders.

Venango County riders meet at Quaker Steak & Lube with Mercer County and Crawford County riders.

At 11 a.m. leave the Quaker Steak & Lube to go to Mercer County Courthouse.

Gather at 1 p.m. at Venango County Courthouse and 3 p.m. at Crawford County Courthouse.

Other riders will be taking the northern route. At 4 p.m. all riders who participate in either route are invited to Ranz Bar and Grill in Meadville for wings and things courtesy of District 1.

The May district meeting will follow and is open to all A.B.A.T.E. members.
