That’s perhaps the best one-word description of Yolanda Marshall’s appearance on “The Price Is Right.”
“It was like so loud and exciting in there,” Marshall said of her involvement in a taping of the show, which is set to air Nov. 1.
The 53-year-old Farrell resident said she charmed host Drew Carey with some shop talk. Carey was surprised to learn she’s a retired pipe-fitter/plumber, she said.
They enjoyed joking with each other, Marshall said.
“It was all good, though,” she said.
She’s a lifelong fan of the show and was able to attend a taping because she spent the summer in Los Angeles visiting her son, Lt. Dante Marshall, who is stationed there during his service in the Navy, she said.
“I just wrote to the show and I got to go on,” she said.
It’s a daylong affair, she said, but it was well worth the time she spent at the studio.
“When they called my name, the girl beside me was like ‘That’s you’,” Marshall said.
“They tell us not to say what happened,” she said. “Everything was just so exciting and everything happened so fast.”
To find out how she did, watch the show on CBS at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1.
