Relay for Life events

- — Following are American Cancer Society Relay For Life events in Mercer County:

• The Grove City YMCA, 543 E. Main St. Ext., will host Zumbathon between 5 and 7 p.m. March 22. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

• Spring Dinner & Oldies Dance will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. March 22 at Legacy Banquet & Conference Center, 1946 Mercer-Grove City Road, Mercer. Cost is $21 per person and includes appetizer, dinner, beverages and dessert. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a DJ.

Reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased in Grove City (at Pizza Joe’s, County Market and Legacy Banquet Center), Mercer (at Pizza Joe’s and the Mercer Chamber of Commerce office), and in Leesburg (at Country Crossing Gift and Collectibles).

• Spring Fling Craft/Vendor Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 5 at the Grove City Masonic Hall (located by Burger King). Proceeds from the Chinese Auction will be donated to Relay For Life.

• A craft show will be held at West Middlesex VFW Post 6233, at 3747 New Castle Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 12.  There will be a 50/50 drawing and Chinese auction. Tables are available for $15 each or $20 if electric is needed.

• The 12th Annual Kress Auto Center Couples Golf Scramble will take place June 8 at Pine Hill Golf Course in Greenville. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $220 per team (two couples per team) and includes 18 holes with cart, hot dog lunch, steak dinner, refreshments and prizes. There will also be skill games, including long putt, longest drive and closest to the pin.

Send completed registration form with a check for $220 (payable to “Kress Auto Center Benefit Golf Outing”). Deadline is June 2. Scramble is limited to 30 foursomes.

• Join the Mercer Relay For Life at 5 p.m. June 14 at the Mercer High School track for a butterfly release to honor special people. Butterflies can be ordered for $10 each until May 27.
