Saralyn “Sara” Miller and Walter “Rusty” Bates, both of 175 Carriage Club Drive, Apartment 3-008. Mooresville, N.C., are planning a June 14 wedding and reception at Connoquenessing Country Club in Ellwood City.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of James L. and Joylyn A. Miller, 60 N. Second St., Greenville.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Walter and Jayne Bates, Portersville, Pa.

Miss Miller graduated in 2003 from Greenville Area High School; and in 2007 from Slippery Rock University, with a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is a general music teacher for Iredell-Statesville School District in North Carolina, Pressly and Scotts Elementary Schools.

Her fiance graduated in 2002 from Lincoln High School, Ellwood City and in 2007 from SRU with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is a developer support agent for Lead Technologies, Charlotte, N.C.
