Karen Bardelcik, Atlanta, and Rand and Allyson Nikoloff, Grove City, announce the engagement of their children, Alexa L. Bardelcik and Matthew A. Nikoloff.

The bride-to-be is also a daughter of the late Richard Bardelcik.

She is a graduate of Grove City High School and Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in risk management. She is a claims manager for Nationwide Insurance, Harrisburg.

The future groom graduated from Grove City High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Elizabethtown (Pa.) College and a doctor of medicine degree from Penn State University College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency in June and has begun a fellowship in gastroenterology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

The couple are planning to marry April 11, 2009, in Hershey.
