Robert L. Klass of 34 Grant St., Fredonia, passed away unexpectedly at 3:14 p.m. Saturday (4-26-08) in the emergency room of the hospital of Sharon Regional Health Systems. He was 75.
Mr. Klass was born Aug. 3, 1932, in Cleveland.
On July 7, 1967, he married the former Betty Jean Anderson, who preceded him in death Feb. 11, 2004.
He had been employed by what is Polk Center as a residential service assistant for more than 20 years, having retired in 1995.
Prior to this, he had been employed at Werner Co., Sugar Grove Township, for 14 years.
He was a member of Harthegig Conservation Club, Delaware Township.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather Stankowicz, Cincinnati; and Kathleen Addison and her husband Matthew, Fredonia; two sons, Richard D. Mohar and his wife Linda, Burton, Ohio; and Ronald L. Klass and his wife Karen, Fredonia; and 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 36 years; two daughters, Tammy Brier and Linda Klass; and three sisters and a brother.
The family has suggested memorial tributes may be made to Harthegig Conservation Club, 600 Rogers Hill Road, Fredonia 16124.

Service: Funeral and committal service at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Peters, pastor of Fredonia Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial: Cremation has been selected as disposition with the inurnment to be at a later date at the Millbank Cemetery, Fairview Township.
