BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, Ellen Murray, 51, of Blue Springs, beautiful wife, loving mother and cherished grandmother, passed away after a long illness.
A tireless mind and a sympathetic spirit, Ellen devoted herself to her family, her animals, her gardens and her faith.
She was a member of Outreach Restoration Branch of Church of Jesus Christ, which was most important to her. Her strong faith led to the acceptance of her illness and gave her family inspiration and faith.
Born on July 16, 1956, in Sharon, a daughter of David W. and Frances Park Ryhal, who preceded her in death, she graduated from Hickory High School in Hermitage, in 1974.
Three years later, on June 25, 1977, she was united in marriage to Kevin Murray of Sharpsville. They raised two beautiful daughters, Jamie and Amanda, in the area before
Ellen fulfilled a lifelong dream of hers to move to Missouri to be nearer to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughter Jamie Lynn and her husband, Josh Hern, Blue Springs; daughter, Amanda Ellen Murray, also Blue Springs; sisters, Karen Devera, Linda Ryhal, Sue Maurice, Donna Rodgers and SueAnn Klein; two grandchildren, Emma Masten and baby Hern; and her two dogs.
