Clune of Liberty Health Care, 1355 Churchill-Hubbard Road, formerly of Sharon. She passed away at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008, in her residence. She was 101.

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, TRUMBULL COUNTY — A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday for Mildred S. Clune of Liberty Health Care, 1355 Churchill-Hubbard Road, formerly of Sharon. She passed away at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008, in her residence. She was 101.
Mrs. Clune was born Feb. 20, 1907, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Ellen Gorman Smith.
She was a graduate of St. Mary’s of the Mount, Pittsburgh, and moved to Sharon in 1948.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon, and its seniors group.
Her first husband, John Boyle, whom she married in May of 1935, passed away in October of 1938. Her second husband, Stephen Clune, whom she married Nov. 26, 1947, passed away June 8, 1974.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mary Ellen Donahue, Hermitage; and a son, Stephen Clune and his wife Andrea, Hubbard; five grandchildren, Keara Donahue; Colin Donahue and his wife Debra; Kevin Clune and his wife Mandy; Kristin Balog and her husband Frank; and Megan Clune; and three great-grandchildren, Ashley, Michael and Ryan.
Besides her parents and two husbands, Mrs. Clune was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph School, 740 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
