George Carl Larson Jr., 77è W. 10th St., Reynolds, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday (5-2-08) in UPMC Horizon, Braddock, Pa. He was 60.
Mr. Larson was born Dec. 29, 1947, in Rochester, N.Y., to George Carl and Nellie Lewis Larson.
He attended Shepherd of the Valley, Clark, and was employed by McCauley Security Agency, Pittsburgh.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Libengood, whom he married June 16, 1989; two sons, George C. Larson III, Corning, N.Y.; and Randy A. Hedglin, Mercer; five daughters, Brenda Larson, Joanna Burdick and Laura Taylor, all Corning; Mrs. Robert (Tammy M.) Cannon, Clintonville; and Mrs. Robert (Tracey L.) Hughes, Hermitage; a brother, John “Wacky” Larson; and a sister, Beverly Johnson, both Indiana, Pa.; and 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant children; two sisters, Kleora and Charlotte; and two brothers, Raymond and George.
