WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Genevieve Lee Baugh of Winter Haven, formerly of 134 Greenwood Drive, Hermitage, passed away at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in Winter Haven Hospital after an illness. She was 77.

Mrs. Baugh was born on May 23, 1932, in Coraopolis, Pa., to Clair and Bernice McClester Miller.

Genevieve graduated from Sharon High School in 1950.

On June 2, 1951, she married her husband James Baugh, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Mrs. Baugh was a member for many years of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Hermitage, until she moved to Florida in 1995.

She had several hobbies including knitting and cross-stitching and enjoyed making afghans for her children and grandchildren.  

Mrs. Baugh is survived by: two children, Debra Wilson and her husband Patrick, Winter Haven; Gary Baugh and his wife Denise, Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Eileen Douglas, Duncanville, Pa.; a brother, Robert Miller, North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Julie Bshara, Connecticut; Brian Wilson, Sanford, Fla.; and Jacqueline Baugh and Kim Baugh, both Toledo.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours: Friends may call from 1 p.m. to time of service Monday (7-6-09) in SAMPLE-O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME Inc., East State Street at North Oakland Avenue, Sharon. If unable to visit the family during calling hours or the service, friends may send condolences or sign an online memorial guest registry at www.sampleodonnell.com.

Service: Funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Williamson, pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Hermitage, officiating.

Burial: Following at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
