Published August 20, 2008 02:16 pm - Robert “Bobby” J. Borton II, Youngstown, passed away Saturday (8-16-08) after many months of enduring the hardships of cancer and the unpleasant treatments that accompany this disease. Bobby was overtaken even after several months of fighting. He was 33.

Robert “Bobby” J. Borton II, Youngstown, passed away Saturday (8-16-08) after many months of enduring the hardships of cancer and the unpleasant treatments that accompany this disease. Bobby was overtaken even after several months of fighting. He was 33.
He was born Sept. 22, 1974, in Sharon, the son of Robert J. Borton Sr. and Margie McGinnis.
He was a graduate of West Branch High School and was a coatings applicator for George Babyak Painting.
He was a member of Local Union 707.
Bobby, unlike many, was very fortunate to find a career he loved so much. He took great pride in all of his work.
Bobby loved spending time with his family and friends. With music by his side, he was always the life of the party.
He will always be remembered by his dad and stepmom, Debby, with whom he made is home; his mother, Margie and stepfather, Denny Coller; two brothers, Jake Borton, serving with the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Irwin, Calif.; and Charlie Borton of Boardman, Ohio; two sisters, Reisha Longwell and Michelle Hogue both of Hubbard; his paternal grandmother, Frances Borton of Sharon; and many nieces and a nephew.
Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Goldie Dickson; and paternal grandfather, Charles Borton.
