YOUNGSTOWN — Raymond M. Bencivengo of 1712 Old Forge Road, Niles, Ohio, formerly of Farrell, died at 7:55 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, in Forum Health — Northside Medical Center, Youngstown. He was 73.
Mr. Bencivengo was born Feb. 22, 1935, in Farrell, a son of James and Lucy Fortine Bencivengo.
Raymond was a 1953 graduate of Farrell High School.
He was employed at Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio, where he was a diesetter for 46 years before retiring in 1999.
Raymond was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Niles and the Vienna Gun Club.
He enjoyed gardening, canoeing, hunting, fishing, and cooking and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He will be deeply missed by: his wife, the former Christine Williams, whom he married Sept. 7, 1968; a son, Jerry Bencivengo, at home; three brothers, Joe Bencivengo, Huron, Ohio; Fred Bencivengo, Brookfield; and James Bencivengo, Henderson, Nev.; and three sisters, Mary Lanciotti, Greenville; Carmel Longiotti, Greenville; and Rosalie Pryts-Shed, Hubbard.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Anthony Bencivengo.
