Published October 27, 2009 05:38 pm - JoAnne C. Johnson, 52 S. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, formerly of Sharon, Texas and South Dakota, passed away unexpectedly at midnight Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in her home. She was 58.

JoAnne C. Johnson, 52 S. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, formerly of Sharon, Texas and South Dakota, passed away unexpectedly at midnight Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, in her home. She was 58.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 9, 1951, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to Victor and Barbara Satlak.

She graduated in 1969 from Washington High School, Sioux Falls.

Joanne enjoyed sewing and making stained glass, but most of all loved being with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Albert Johnson, whom she married Feb. 17, 1970, passed away May 18, 2003.

Surviving are: two daughters, Stacy Price and her husband Kevin, Houston; and Stephanie Feist and her husband Steve, Sioux Falls; two sons, Eric Johnson and his wife Angi, Simpsonville, S.C.; and Joel Johnson, New Castle; a brother, Rick Satlak, Sioux Falls; and 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Satlak.
