Charlotte L. Jones of 2674 Fry Road, Jamestown, died at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, in Greenville. She was 86.
Mrs. Jones was born March 3, 1923, in Revlock, Pa., to Zenith and Flora Brickley Kunsman.
She was employed for 10 years as a clerk for George’s Bootery in Greenville, and also worked at the former Books Shoe Store, Sharon, and the former Sharon Store in downtown Sharon.
Charlotte lived in Sharon from 1926 until her move to Jamestown in 1951.
She was a member of Jamestown Presbyterian church, the Rambling Rec’s camping group and the moonlight Riders Motorcycle club. She enjoyed bus trips with the O.D. Anderson bus co.
Her husband, Ralph D. Jones, whom she married June 7, 1947, died July 22, 1983.
Surviving are: a son, David L. Jones and his wife Beth “Tootsie,” Jamestown; a granddaughter, Amber Jones, Sharpsville; a grandson, Russell Adams, Ogden, Utah; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
