PLANO, Texas — Hazel Marie Richardson, a resident since 1986 of 7720 Standish Circle, Plano, TX 75025, formerly of New Orleans; Pampa, Texas; and Boyers, Butler County, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, in Allegro Assisted Living Services, Plano, after a lengthy illness. She was 86.
Mrs. Richardson was born June 9, 1923, in Boyers to John and Lillian McNese Dickey.
She was a graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1942.
A homemaker, Hazel was a member of Custer Road United Methodist Church, Plano, where she was very active and served as a volunteer for many church functions until her illness.
She enjoyed her family and traveling.
Her husband, Charles “Chuck” F. Richardson, whom she married Dec. 17, 1943, survives at home.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Carolyn St. Pe, Humble, Texas; and Karen Dooner and her husband Patrick, Plano; and four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Charles; three sisters, Katherine Smith, Mae Cameron and Violet Stoops; and a brother, Merle Dickey.

Service: Funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating.
Interment: Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Pine Township.
