Nicholas ‘Nick’ M. Tatomirovich

Worker at local plants was part of family business

---- — A funeral service will be held Wednesday for Nicholas “Nick” M. Tatomirovich of 7722 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard. He passed away at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, in Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. He was 41.

Mr. Tatomirovich was born June 6, 1968, in Sharon, a son of Stanley and Regina Harenchar Tatomirovich.

He attended Sharon High School and the Shenango campus of Penn State University, Sharon.

Nicholas was employed as a welder at Trinity Industries in Greenville from 1989 to the time of its closing in 2000. He then went on to work at Wheatland Tube Co. for two years and was currently employed at Duferco Farrell Co.

Mr. Tatomirovich was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Hermitage.

Nick was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. He previously bowled for many years in the Erme’s League at Sunset Lanes Bowling Alley and enjoyed hunting.

He, along with his family, owned and operated Tats B-B-Q and catering. He enjoyed cooking on the spit and along with his family, cooked at The Great Stoneboro Fair for 29 years.

Nick was a regular member of the American Carpatho-Russian Citizens and Social Club and the Maenerchor Club, both Sharon.

The greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

Survivors include: his loving wife of almost 20 years, Suzanne Schwab Tatomirovich, whom he married Oct. 27, 1990; his three adoring daughters, Bethany and her fiancé Steven Kirsch of Fredonia; and Samantha and Nicole, all at home; his mother, Regina Tatomirovich, Masury; two brothers, Stanley John Tatomirovich, Sharon; and Brian Tatomirovich, Masury; three sisters, Mary Cotten, Greenville; Anastasia and her husband Dale Ondic, Masury; and Stephanie Tatomirovich, Sharon; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Mary Loomis, Transfer; three sisters-in-law, Cindy and her husband Jeff Nolan, Temecula, Calif.; Kelly and her husband Gary Robison, Virginia Beach, Va.; and Teresa and her husband Tim Daisley, Transfer; and four nephews, five nieces, a great-niece and a great-nephew.

He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nick was preceded in death by his father and paternal and maternal grandparents.
