Edna Alice Hesselgesser Hogg Henry of Grove City passed away in the early morning hours Sunday, May 2, 2010, in Grove Manor, Grove City. She was 98.
Mrs. Henry was born Nov. 6, 1911, in Leisurville, Butler County, to Charles Wesley Hesselgesser and Auda Floss Johnston Hesselgesser.
She married Henry Raymond Hogg on July 15, 1930. He passed away May 5, 1960. She married Troy M. Henry on Aug. 21, 1970; he passed away Sept. 26, 1992.
She was the oldest living member of Branchton United Methodist Church, where she played the organ and the piano. She was the postmaster in Branchton for 36 years.
Edna enjoyed music and community service and was a volunteer at Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. Even though she was legally blind, she played the organ for patients in its transitional care unit.
She is survived by: a daughter, Ardis L. and her husband Henry Knight Sr., Mercer; four sisters, Ethel Dollman, Slippery Rock; Ila Margaret Walton, Volant; Jean Kuhn, Meadville; and Ruth and her husband Glenn Cooper, Slippery Rock; a brother, Robert Hesselgesser and his wife Elaine, also Slippery Rock; a grandson, Scott Pridemore and his wife Toni, Slippery Rock; a stepgranddaughter, Terrie and her husband David Cooper, Grove City; a stepgrandson, Henry Knight Jr. and his wife Bonnie, Grove City; five great-granddaughters, twin sisters Cassandra Pridemore Rennick and Christin Pridemore; Jessica Pridemore, Alexandria Pridemore and Danielle Bernard; a great-grandson, Matthew Mateer; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Harold Hogg; two brothers, Dwight and Charles Hesselgesser; and a granddaughter, Sherry Mateer.

Interment: Slippery Rock (Township) Cemetery.
