The bridge that spans the Shenango River on Walnut Street in Sharpsville is being renamed the Sgt. David W. Wallace III “Walleye” Memorial Bridge. The 25-year-old Sharpsville native was killed in action Jan. 26 in Afghanistan while serving with the Marines. The actual change will happen later this year.
