GREENVILLE — The condition has improved for the woman hurt April 19 when she was hit by a car in downtown Greenville.
Darla Hellyer, 49, of 37 S. Mercer St., Greenville, was upgraded from fair to good condition, a spokeswoman from UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, said Wednesday.
Ms. Hellyer was in a crosswalk at Main and Mercer streets when she was hit by a car driven by Charles A. Sensesak, 27, of 20 Bentley Ave., Greenville, who drove through a red light.
His car caused a crash involving two others before crashing on Shenango Street where Senesak was caught by police.
