DELAWARE TOWNSHIP

A Delaware Township man accused of beating up and robbing a friend last year was beat up himself at 12:50 a.m. Friday.

Keith Edward Sensesak, 25, of 724 River Road, Delaware Township, came home early Friday and was assaulted by Cody Tyler Bunger, 21, of Kinsman Road, West Salem Township, state police said.

Bunger is accused of hitting Sensesak several times in the face and head, then leaving. Sensesak was treated at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, for the injuries, police said.

Bunger faces charges of simple assault, harassment, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, police said.

Sensesak is one of two men who allegedly held their friend against his will and beat him for money on Dec. 27.

Senesak, 25, and Douglas Banic, 22, of Jamestown, are charged with robbery, making terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault, reckless endangerment, conspiracy to commit those crimes and attempted robbery in that incident. They are awaiting trial in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on those charges.

Ryan Nelitz, 20, of Greenville, said Sensesak invited him to his home on River Road in Delaware Township at 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.

Nelitz said Banic accused him of stealing money and insulting him and punched him several times in the head, face and ribs and then kicked him. When Nelitz tried to run, he said Sensesak blocked the door.

Banic threatened him with a glass object and a pipe and demanded he empty his pockets of all his money.

Banic also ordered Sensesak to take Nelitz’s girlfriend to Nelitz’s home to get money, but Nelitz said he told them no one was going to leave with his “old lady.”

When Banic and Sensesak tried to force him into a vehicle, Nelitz said he managed to run away and jump into his girlfriend’s car.
