Three people charged with beating a man in a Farrell bar have pleaded guilty to lesser charges that left them with hefty fines and restitution to pay.

Robert Brodie, 41, of 1148 Hamilton Ave., Farrell, and Ashley M. West, 24, of 403 Prospect St., Sharon, pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to disorderly conduct, and Corey L. Brodie, 38, 1217 Washington St., Farrell, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

District Judge Ronald E. Antos, Farrell, fined Robert Brodie and Ms. West $500 each, and Corey Brodie $1,000. Each also was ordered to pay $1,357 restitution.

Southwest Mercer County Regional police said the fight occurred at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in Razcal’s, 802 Roemer Blvd., when Andre Ritchie of Sharon walked into the bar and was stopped by Robert Brodie. They exchanged words, Robert Brodie pushed Ritchie and tried to hit him and Ritchie pushed back and hit Robert Brodie, police said.

Corey Brodie hit Ritchie, the Brodies forced Ritchie to the floor and kicked him, police said. Corey Brodie hit Ritchie several times with a bar stool, police said.

Ms. West, who was tending bar, kicked Ritchie in the face several times, police said.
