GROVE CITY

Grove City police are asking for help in the probe of an attempted bank robbery.

Police said a man entered the Farmer’s National Bank, 1319 W. Main St., at 2:39 p.m. Friday and showed a teller a note demanding money.

The man had a hand in his pocket making the teller believe he had a gun, police said.

The man ran in an unknown direction without any money, police said. He was about 45 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds. He wore a dark gray or green hood, jeans and a blue NASCAR ballcap.

Anyone with information can call 724-458-7925.
