Sharon police are obtaining a warrant for the arrest of a man they say rammed his vehicle into a woman’s car before running a red light and hitting a truck Friday afternoon.
No one was seriously injured in the two wrecks that involved five vehicles, police said.
About noon a woman said she argued at Budd Street and New Castle Avenue with a Youngstown man she knew.
Police said she drove away and he chased her in his vehicle, and on Budd near Mesabi Street he intentionally rammed her car, which then rear-ended another vehicle that was traveling in front of her.
The man drove away headed west on Budd and ran a red light at the intersection with the Shenango Valley Freeway, police said.
His vehicle hit a small pickup, which flipped onto its roof, police said.
The man then fled west on U.S. Route 62 into Ohio.
The woman driving the first car, an adult passenger and a child were not hurt but the driver of the vehicle they hit complained of neck injuries and was treated at the scene.
Police said the man in the truck was hurt but they were unsure of the extent of the injuries or where he went for treatment.
