Cops: Woman provided alcohol to assault victim
LACKAWANNOCK TOWNSHIP – A Lackawannock Township woman has been charged with alcohol offenses related to a party at her home in which a 15-year-old girl allegedly was sexually assaulted, state police said.
Amber N. Moon, 19, of 6814 Frogtown Road, has been charged with corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and underage drinking.
Moon held the party Feb. 15. Three days later, police took a report from the sexual assault victim and filed charges against Ryan S. Grace, 20, of 1585 Pulaski Mercer Road, East Lackawannock Township, police said.
The victim said she drank so much that she bruised herself stumbling around the house and passed out in a chair, police said. She said Moon and Grace gave her alcohol, police said.
Moon told police that Grace brought the alcohol and that she did not know that he was going to do so, police said.
