WEST MIDDLESEX —
Those driving through West Middlesex Thursday evening saw a trolley making odd stops and starts through town. Those aboard the trolley were treated to “a little journey” through history by stopping a some of the haunts in the tiny town tucked next to the Shenango River.
The tour proved to be a popular fundraiser for the West Middlesex Historical Society, the society’s president, Malieia James said. About 25 tickets were sold for three hour-long tours, Ms. James said, and there were dozens of people who were turned away because of the limited space.
