Police: Fish dinner beef leads to assault case

OTTER CREEK TOWNSHIP — A Greenville woman is charged with assault after state police said she pulled a knife on a couple after an argument over how dinner was prepared.

Lynn Irwin, 48, faces charges of aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and reckless endangerment for pointing a kitchen knife at a 21-year-old man and threatening to stab him at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday at 420 Donation Road, Otter Creek Township, police said.

Irwin also charged at a 21-year-old woman with the knife, threatened to stab her and swung the knife as the victim tried to leave the house, police said. No one was injured.

The three argued over how one of the victims cooked IrwinÕs fish, police said.
